Work party required at the School house on Friday 22nd April

We have agreed to undertake the removal of some timber from the main hall at the School.
The item in question is a fabricated wooden beam originally used for partitioning the hall. It will come down in pieces - so not to difficult to remove.
We will have the use of an access tower on the day and there will be additional work, clearing away, making good, re-painting, brewing the tea etc.
The hall is booked out for the day and we will be on site from around 9.00 am.
If you are able to assist on the day even if only for a few hours, please let me know / or just turn up in your work gear.
CMS Membership
Just when you thought it was safe to start coming to the shed again, be warned that I will be chasing everyone for their 2022 / 2023 membership fees.
Annual membership is unchanged at £20.00.
Attendance fees at the School will be £2 per session including tea (and maybe biscuits if we are lucky) - so largely the same as it was at Greystones.
You membership fees are more important than ever now that we are responsible for our operating costs at the School!
Membership can be paid in cash (not cheques) or we can make arrangements for payment on-line.
Allen Hennah
We are saddened to announce the passing of Allen Hennah.
Allen was one of our original members and his presence and good humour will be missed by us all.
The funeral service will be held on Friday 29th April at the Hinton Park Woodland Burial Ground at 12.30 followed by light refreshments at The Barn, Gore Road BH25 6SL.
The Hennah family have asked for any donations to be made to Christchurch Men's Shed.
