Does anyone recognise this man?
Last seen speeding away on a silver coloured Lamborghini but thought to have been sleeping rough behind the shed.
The public are advised not to approach as he is a kno
wn troublemaker but to report any sightings to the Shed Probation Officer on 01042026

Membership

We currently have 47 members.
Welcome to our newest recruits, Mike Thomas, Peter Burch and Keith Carmichael
New Toy for our woodturners
We have purchased a Record Power DML305 and accessories (chucks, drive centres and a set of Marples chisels) to replace the old "blue" Record lathe.
The headstock thread and morse tapers are the same as the old lathe so all of our existing fittings can still be used.
No more struggling with the locking levers on the tool rest!
PAT Testing (Portable Appliances)
Thanks to Roger who spent a couple of days this week testing / retesting and labelling all of our electrical appliances
The PAT records will be held on our Dropbox database with a paper copy in the shed.
Tricuro Building / Mudeford Playgroup
I'm sure everyone is aware by now that there is a pre-school group starting in the "Tricuro" building in early September.
Right now there is ongoing work around the entrance and a skip next to the drive up to the School car park.
Best take some extra care when driving round to our car park in future as there may be parents and toddlers around and cars turning -
I can imagine the first few days of the new school term could be a bit chaotic!
Shed Projects
The number and variation of shed projects this year has been amazing including a bat box for Christchurch Minster (Jeff Perkings), turned wood and resin bowles (Roger Begg), a peaky blinders inspired carving (Jerry Russell) a sledge for the table saw (Des Earl) and now a couple of bases for shell casings - to name a few.
Richard Cearns and Kevin Lee have volunteered to take over the shed website from Les Mercer who has been looking after it for several years now (thanks Les!) and plan to update the picture gallery.
And on a similar subject, if anyone wants to join our facebook page (this is a private page for CMS members only), search on Facebook for Christchurch Men's Shed and post a join request and we will do the rest.
If you haven't visited for a while why not drop in for a cuppa - if we can wake our resident vagrant tea boy!
