Events and forthcoming Events
The recent Beer & Skittles event raised £170 for shed funds. Many thanks to everyone who contributed and to Margaret and Jannet for organising the raffle!
We disposed of some surplus hand tools at the Stanpit car boot sale and despite the less than helpful weather raised a further £130.
Mick was voted #1 Salesman - makes a change from chairs anyway!
2023 Summer BBQ
This year we will be holding our BBQ at the School on Friday 25th August.
Hopefully the weather will be better than the car boot sale - we will in any case book the hall just in case, otherwise we will be outside on the grassy area next to the car park.
This will be a free event for members and partners - the booking form is in the workshop but please try not to get trampled in the rush!
As usual, bring your own refreshments and drinking vessels.
And don't worry, there will be ample opportunity to part with your cash in support of shed funds - you have been warned!
Mudeford Club lunch
Our next lunch is booked for Friday 22nd September.
Friends of the New Forest Airfields
Keith Vinycomb has offered to arrange a guided tour for CMS to visit FONA - their web address is: https://fonfa.co.uk/

I have suggested that a Men's Shed visit might be of interest to Shed Members and they are happy to make a special conducted tour of the museum for us. However they have asked for a donation that also includes becoming a FONFA member for the year. (Friends of The New Forest Airfields Association) to help with the costs involved in running it all. This would be £12 per head and include any tea or coffee at the event and of course Membership for the rest of the year.

So that we have an idea of numbers, please register your interest with me either by email to CMS or catch me at the shed (I am away next week)
I think that's it for this month - but I nearly forgot, you must be dying to know who Charley is.....
