In the meantime, down in the workshop, the elves have been busy building Santa's sleigh.
Membership and attendances at the shed are up and with the shed now open 3-days each week, it feels like we have achieved critical mass.
Hopefully next year, we can start one or more afternoon sessions - what do members think, would that be of interest?
But back to this year, the work on the building is mostly completed and the emphasis over the next few weeks will be on figuring out which layout and tool storage options work best.
Speaking of tools, we are now proud owners of a DEWALT SDS drill donated to CMS by the Parish Council.
And welcome to new member Geoff (with a G) Jones!
Our next community project (managed by John MacBean) will be constructing a number of pallet Xmas trees.
Volunteers step this way!

Christchurch Men's Shed
Oh, and before I forget, best ending for the "If you go down to the shed today" rhyme goes to Les Mercer with "Today's the day the road menders get their picks nicked"
Awful, what more can I say.....
